Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boonrat Lohwongwatana
He is a university professor known for his expertise in precision manufacturing and materials science. He has held executive roles, founded research centers, and collaborated with industry leaders. His pioneering work in 3D printing of biomedical titanium has transformed orthopedic, plastic surgery, and neurosurgery. This led to the establishment of Meticuly, a spin-off company focused on on-demand, patient-specific medical devices. His collaborative approach with surgeons has produced fully anatomical devices, promoting minimal invasiveness and shorter surgeries. His contributions have garnered numerous awards, showcasing his dedication to healthcare innovation.
